When The Danish National Museum in the 1990s excavated the Nydam bog in Southern Denmark discoveries were made that shed new light on the famous Nydam oak boat and remains of two more boats were found. These discoveries from the Iron Age sacrifice site are revealed in this book and the publication also includes a chapter on the technical aspects of the boats.
