MMP was founded in 1996 by Roger Wallsgrove, to publish Mushroom Model Magazine. This quarterly modelling magazine was developed from Mushroom Monthly, a club newsletter which ran from 1985 to 1995, achieving a world-wide reputation for quality articles, fearless and honest reviews, and a great sense of humour. From 1997 the magazine was produced in collaboration with Robert Peczkowski and Artur Juszczak (Stratus), which meant a big leap in print quality and design. MMP expanded into book publication in 1999, and since then they have built up a list of books on aircraft and aviation history, military vehicles, and military history. Their books are now read around the world and have been received to critical acclaim. In 2006 the decision was made to stop producing the magazine to concentrate on book production; the books being a logical follow-on, and with the same philosophy. MMP’s emphasis is on accessible, well-researched and well-written books, showcasing top-quality photos and artwork, produced to a high standard.

Description:
This book contains information about a tank very important in the development of Polish armored weaponry. Although only 38 of these combat vehicles were purchased in 1932, allowing for the formation of just two companies, it was significant that the Polish Army received a modern tank, whose utility and properties could be tested in daily service. Simultaneously, a license for the production of Vickers E tanks was purchased - and this was even more important than the acquisition of the equipment itself.
Operating Vickers E tanks provided essential knowledge about the necessary design changes - which was crucial for the initiated production of more advanced Polish tanks named 7TP and C7P artillery tractors. The book includes nearly 200 illustrations, consisting of large, clear photographs from the era and colorful profiles of Polish "Vickers" with faithfully reproduced details of equipment, painting, and markings.

This fascinating history of an under-published aspect of World War Two aviation warfare is illustrated with photographs, scale plans and full color illustrations, including those of the preserved Seiran.

Description:
This new photo album is number 32 in the MMPBooks/Stratus "Camera On" series and is the second volume to cover such equipment as Luftwaffe search lights and range finding equipment, of which the book contains 140+ photographs. The majority of the photos are from private collections taken by ordinary German soldiers, not professional propagandists. In this volume, we endeavour to show this rarely illustrated equipment in some detail but still show it as the soldiers viewed it as both their work place and also their home, not the highly posed and polished views of the official photographers.
This book is an invaluable reference for military historians and modelers alike.
