Laurie Brown has long been fascinated with what happens at the edge of cities. Since 1983 David Wharton has photographed the twelve states that define the American South, focusing his attention on rural and small-town culture, vernacular architecture and landscape, the role of religion in Southern life, and the relationship between Southerners, their natural surroundings, and the communities they have built. Basil Hyman, a keen amateur photographer, took hundreds of photographs of everyday life in Britain during the 1950s. The Lost Album is a nostalgic look back at this long-gone era, filled with photographs made during a time of enormous social change--just after World War II and before the 'Swinging Sixties'--and a wealth of ephemera: theater tickets and playbills, newspaper advertisements, ration books, and much more.

In Tunnels Portuguese photographer Andri Principe explores the boundaries of knowing oneself and others through themes such as isolation and absence. By photographing people from behind, while hiding or through windows, Principe captures images that deal with issues such as loneliness and the difficulty of communicating, while also reflecting on the limits of the photographic medium.
